[Bug] Windows 11 pop-ups get stuck on the screen

Your Environment

Distro: Arch Linux (Kernel Version 6.18.1-arch1-1 (64-bit))
Deskstop Env: KDE Plasma v 6.4.5 (Wayland)
FreeRDP: AUR 3.17.2

Whenever I get a notification pop-up from my Windows 11 Winboat instance, it will stay on the screen. Upon attempting to dismiss it, it becomes unresponsive and stays persistant on my screen until I restart/shut down the instance.

Steps to Reproduce / Context

1. Set up a Windows 11 Instance via Winboat
2. Have a program that sends Desktop notifications in Windows (e.g. Windows Security)
3. Wait for the pop-up to occur
4. Attempt to dismiss it

Expected Behavior

The notification disappears after the default cooldown period in Windows 11, or upon being dismissed.

Current Behavior

The pop-up does not disappear, and becomes unresponsive.

Best solution I've found is to disable notifications from windows entirely.

Someone on the discord suggested install KDE Connect and use it for notifications if they're absolutely necessary, but in the meantime thats your best way to go about it

The same issue persists for pop-up windows in applications like Adobe Reader. They will block the existing window and the user is not able to close either.

Issue also occurs with Fedora 43 and Gnome, it seems to be a problem where they they don't register input

+1 Replicated on Linux 6.19.10-1-cachyos, KDE Plasma 6.6.3, KWin (Wayland). Had the most annoying popup "Activate windows" stuck....
