On the topic of #41, shall we include a cookie cutter eslint config with each template? This shouldn't be over the top in terms of strictness but enough to hopefully form good habits (indentation, semicolons, etc).

Otherwise we should probably remove this as well.

Nah, this should be kept. It's a standard that's also implemented in Create React App.

There is already an eslint config, but not in file format. It's inside this package.json file:

Whether you'd like to add more opinionated rules, that's a different issue. I'm not against it, but it would make the tool more opinionated that it already is.

Yeah, I guess so. There's not a huge amount of point in setting up a full linting setup as the majority of users' IDEs won't be set up to enforce it sadly.
