Hej! I’m Alma, a Swedish produced and SF-based machine learning scientist working at Genentech in the BRAID (Biology Research AI Development) department. I develop machine learning methods for real-world problems related to discovering therapeutic targets, modeling biological systems, and optimizing drug development. Currently my research focuses a lot on multimodal generative models and agentic workflows. I’m a big sports fan and a semi-serious recreational runner focusing on distances from 10k up to the marathon.
