Is your feature request related to a problem? Please describe.
In my use case, attachments are more of a nuisance than a feature. I have non-technical users and they confuse the idea of uploading a file to a folder and uploading a file as an attachment to a .md file. The file then gets into a hidden folder and is difficult to recover if you don't know it was uploaded that way or do not remember to which file it is attached.
Moreover, the attachment notion is not really a part of Markdown, which creates problem when editing a file offline or moving it.
Describe the solution you'd like
I would like an option in the admin panel to turn off this feature and have Text work as a pure Markdown editor.
Describe alternatives you've considered
I tried looking for a Markdown editor app in Nextcloud, but the only one I found requires an outdated server version.
I also tried to use the Notes app, but I cannot seem to take a file in an arbitrary folder and "open it with Notes".
