Thanks very much for your efforts on this gem (and in the community in general) - it still helps many people.
Given that the
cancanproject is now abandoned, it would be great if we could direct new (and existing) users of the gem to CanCanCan, where - as you'll know - many issues have been resolved and features implemented.If you'd rather propose some other text change for the README, feel free to change, or I can update this PR as required. I could also update
CONTRIBUTING.mdand/or the "Questions or Problems" section of the README if you want.Thanks
