  • 👋 Hi, I’m @serishema from new zealand
  • 👀 I’m interested in learning GPU programming, but never had the time or energy to actually do it.
  • 🌱 I’m currently learning javascript, C++ and OpenGL I have moved on to typescript and rust
  • I stream development of personal projects on twitch. ( I haven't streamed in a couple of years)
  • After initally hating them, I have come to embrace HTML5/Javascript app frameworks as nessecary for cross platform UI development. I realized I can still write the actual engine of an app in a native language like C or rust and use web tech for the UI layer.
  • After initally hating them, I have come to find cloud services like codespaces and Azure useful.
  • I have far more interest areas than I have time to explore
  • I am not actually a professional software developer. I am bodily disabled and do not have anything like as much energy as I would like to be able to dedicate to software development.
  • My repos are littered with unfinished projects, I make the interesting ones public.
  • I am starting to experiment with AI coding assistants, but my mind is not made up on whether they are harmful or helpful. I suspect the answer is more nuanced.
