Start from wechaty@0.67, TLS certificates are used by the Wechaty Puppet Service Server (WPSS) and each Wechaty Puppet Service Client (WPSC) to verify their identity to clients connecting to them over gRPC TLS.
These clients include:
- Wechaty Puppet Service Client (WPSC)
- Polyglot Wechaty SDK (Python, Go, Java, etc)
In order to provide maximum security for the community, Wechaty PMC has managed our own root CA for authorizing the service, and we are preparing to sign the Certificate Signing Request (CSR) to assist in acquiring a server certificate from Wechaty Certificate Authority.
Currently, this is a draft plan, and we will start working with our certificated wechaty puppet service provider for now.
